Personal Web Page of Jay Gallman

Okay it has been years since I sat down with a copy of Front Page and faked my way through a personal web page.  This time I have opted to use a freeware package called KompoZer.  My previous "personal page" mirrored much of the content that is already on my official web page, seems like a waste of space to go that route again.

In June of 2009 I will have been on the campus of Georgia Tech for 30 years in one capacity or another.  Along the way I managed to earn two degrees (BS Chemical Engineering 1985 and MS 1990), and find a job that has kept me gainfully employed in a place that I enjoy being.  Hobbies come and go but there are a few that have stuck with me now for some time.  I have always enjoyed travel, and my wife and I have been fortunate to see a good bit of the world over the last 15 years.  That hobby has allowed me to indulge two other hobbies fine food and drink and over the past 5 years photogaphy.

My current camera is a
Nikon D80 which I use with an assortment of lens.  My newest lens is a Sigma 150-500 driven by the desire to get better pictures of wild life.  I like to think I am getting better in this hobby but there is always room for improvement and alway something new to learn.

Here's a slide show of some of my personal favorites.

You can see more of my pictures on line in my Picasa Gallery.

My Travels - A page holder for now more later :) Now that I at least have a starting point established, I will add more content as time allows.
