Invitation Fellowship for Research in Japan
Atlanta (November 16, 2006) — Dr. Haskell Beckham has received an Invitation Fellowship for Research in Japan from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). This fellowship was awarded for Dr. Beckham’s work in cyclic and threaded macromolecules. He will be spending nearly three weeks in Japan, primarily at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, but will also be visiting the University of Tokyo, Nagoya University, Kyoto University, Osaka University, and JAIST (Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology). The JSPS supports such visits to facilitate collaborative research between American and Japanese scientists
